Christmas in July with Memory Box
Howdy!
Yesterday’s Make & Take was a sneak peak to Wednesday’s What’s New Pussycat? We have brought in Memory Box’s “What’s in the Box Holiday” release, the first time I’ve ever ordered one of their sight unseen, whole nine yards packages. Very cool! We will be releasing all of it tomorrow at 3pm for WNP, but I decided to use one of the Make & Take kits they included for yesterdays M&Ts.
Oh my, Christmas in July! This was a huge success as we sold out of all the paper and stamps that were featured. Many of the customers commented how they love the simple elegance and were amazed at how just a bit of glitter can add so much. Many of you know how much I love glitter (not!) and were surprised to hear I had used loose glitter for this card. You can read all about the commentary on our Facebook page. Fred B. Mullett even threatened a Sparkle Intervention.

Holly Jolly (Mistletoe) Card Stock
Dill A2 Note Card
Red Card Stock
Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Canary Yellow Jewel Stickers
R29 Lipstick Red and YG67 Moss Copic Markers
Glue Pen and red glitter
Sparkle Sweeper
Glue Stick and Brayer
How To:
Stamp Poinsettia Outline on “plainer” text portion of Holly Jolly with Tuxedo Black ink. Color with Copic Markers. Adhere to red card stock. Apply Glue Pen and glitter, doing a few petals at a time. Set aside to dry. Adhere Holly Jolly pattern to front of note card. Dust extra glitter off using Sparkle Sweeper. Adhere Poinsettia image to card front. Designed by Memory Box.
