Clearly a More Masculine Valentine

We were rockin’ ‘n rollin’ down here yesterday with the Make & Take! We had a total of 51 people do the M&T yesterday. I think that’s a new record, but I’ll have to double check with Shellye. It was very popular, with lots of positive comments. I think between easy and different, we had it covered. Check it out…

Clearly Love Supplies:
Ornate Flourish by Magenta
Plastic Sheet, 4×8”
Berry Red DoubleMates and Black Card Stock
Jet Black StazOn Ink
Snow Cap Adirondack Ink
Corner Rounder, Heart and 1/4” circle Punches
Black Netting and Dark Red Pinstripe Ribbon
Spiral Paper Clip
Cuttlebug & Diamond Plate Embossing Folder
Super Tape Adhesive

How To:
Stamp Ornate Flourish onto black card stock with Snow Cap ink. Punch out heart. Emboss top section of plastic sheet with Diamond Plate in Cuttlebug. Round the corners and punch a hole in the top center. Using a Larks Head Knot, add ribbon to center hold. Stamp phrase with Jet Black StazOn ink about 1/2” inch below embossing. Tear long edges of Berry Red card stock toward you, exposing darker edges. Turn over and tear right side, exposing lighter edges. Fold over edge of plastic sheet and hold in place with spiral clip. Layer torn scraps behind heart and adhere to card front. Designed by Shellye Hodges-French.

Our next Make & Take is Monday, Feb. 22. Join us! It is National Margarita Day… I wonder if I can work that into a Make & Take.
