Give Thanks with The Cat’s Pajamas Stamps
Howdy!
I couldn’t stand it this time. I just had to have a bit of fun with the Make & Take we did on Monday. I don’t know if I’ll ever see a cat in a turkey get-up and a pilgrim penguin on a Thanksgiving card again, but I sure do like it! The customers liked it too thankfully! It’s a tag that is pulled out of a library card on the front of an A2 note card. Easy but there are more than just a couple of steps.

Adirondack Dye Inks: Espresso, Rust, Ginger
Tuxedo Black Memento
Copic Markers: C3 Cool Gray 3, R59 Cardinal, Y21 Buttercup Yellow, Y38 Honey, YR04 Chrome Orange
Black and Gold Spica Gel Pens
Corner Rounder and Scallop Oval Punch
Paper Piercer & Pad, Mini Brads
Mustard Grosgrain Ribbon and Stipple Brushes
Ink Sweeper, Scissors, Acrylic Blocks, Glue Stick and Brayer
How To:
Dust Rust, Ginger and Espresso Adirondack ink across Library Pocket. Stamp acorns with Espresso randomly on pocket. Insert oval punch in pocket, center and punch out. Stamp penguin and hat with Black Memento on left side of ivory rectangle. Stamp Give Thanks with Rust Adirondack on right. Stamp swirl with Espresso Adirondack on edges to frame design. Edge with Ink Sweeper using Rust Adirondack. Adhere to front of pocket. Insert ivory tag in pocket and mark lightly with pencil the outer edges of oval. Remove tag and stamp the cat with his face within the pencil marks. Erase pencil. Sponge Rust on tag. Tear Autumn Blaze, edge with Rust and adhere to bottom of tag. Stamp Gobble twice with Rust and Acorns twice with Espresso. Color with Copics and accent with Spica. Attach ribbon with a brad. Designed by Lisa Taylor.
